Thayu Skincare started with a deeply personal question: "Why are the most effective natural ingredients from Africa so hard to find in African skincare products?"
Frustrated by products full of harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrances that left Kenyan skin dry and irritated, our founder began experimenting in her Nairobi kitchen — blending raw Nilotica shea butter with cold-pressed baobab, marula, and moringa oils sourced directly from East African cooperatives.
The results were undeniable. Friends, family, and neighbours started noticing. What began as a personal ritual became a movement — a celebration of African botanical wisdom passed down through generations, reimagined for modern everyday skin health.
Today, every Thayu formulation is still handcrafted with those same uncompromising standards: 100% natural ingredients, zero synthetic additives, and full transparency in every drop.
